CalTIP Inc.
Mission Statement

CalTIP Inc. is organized, and shall be operated, exclusively for educational, scientific and charitable purposes as may qualify it for tax exempt status under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue Law. 

More specifically, the mission of CalTIP Inc. is to provide support to the California Department of Fish and Game’s (DFG) secret witness program (CalTIP program). 

The mission also includes reviewing cases referred from the DFG and to pay rewards to individuals who provide information on poaching and pollution violations within the State of California. 

CalTIP Inc. will support DFG programs and provide educational materials to the public. 

This support shall include, but not be limited to, prevention of poaching and pollution activities and supporting education/training opportunities for California Fish and Game Wardens.
